How to build your career ladder? Work more than expected

Working for a company is basically simple. In addition the job position you have meets the specialized competency and experiences, moreover your educational background. Let’s say Three in One; competency, experience, and education in on job. What you have to do is to carry out all responsibilities and tasks given. Doing such job description is fundamentally a must due to the reason that you are hired and paid for that.

Things would be much different if you have got personal ambition to build your career ladder at work. To get an average result you just need to work everything out on the given average of working. Yet to get a better result you have to pay more as well for the good path forward. It is just like what the wise people said, “More you do, more you get”. Therefore, you have to spend more energy to contribute and time to dedicate to the company. In this regard, you are not only to cover all required qualification but to be ready for what is beyond expected competency applied in the company you work for.

The upper position always provides broader responsibility and larger duties to accomplish. Logically, it will never be offered to those who could not do his or her jobs description given, or those who could just meet the average work out put targeted by the company. Upper position will normally come to those potential employees who have been proven effective in work. In relation with how to get a better position, you have to be competent of doing the jobs description applied. Unless, learning and continuous hard work are to be done along your days at work until you really get prepared.

Based a common sense, normal performance will be regarded as normal work of employees as well as excellent performance logically gets a better response from the superiors. Although to work better that expected doesn’t always orient to others attention nor superior’s sympathy, but it will inspirit others and work atmosphere in general to be more dynamic and even progressive. Given this notion, the superiors have to do right to appoint employees who usually work better than expected for the sake of company’s future.
